With an unsurpassed reputation for excellence in care, The Van Dyk Family legacy began back in 1953 when Marvin Van Dyk, along with his father Barney and brother William, decided to pursue a lifetime of service to others in need.
Deep rooted religious and family values instilled in these men a desire to serve and care for others. Through his nursing experience, Marvin developed a real concern for the needs of seniors and their families.
This heartfelt dedication became the genesis of what today has evolved into Van Dyk Health Care. In 1994, Marvin's son Robert, who has dedicated over 25 years of his life to senior care, was asked to continue the family tradition by becoming the new President & CEO of Van Dyk Health Care.
Today Van Dyk Health Care represents a continuum of senior care services including: Van Dyk Park Place Assisted Living and Senior Apartment in Hawthorne, Van Dyk at Bold Eagle Commons Assisted Living & Senior Apartment in West Milford, and Van Dyk Manor of Ridgewood and Montclair offering long term nursing home care.
