Director of Admissions
Kasia began her career in healthcare as an entry level front desk receptionist at a nursing home rehabilitation in 2006.
She quickly realized that long term care was going to be the setting she would work in for many years to come. Kasia found pleasure in learning about all of the different departments within the healthcare organization and not limiting her skills to just the reception desk. Four years later her people skills were put into use as she was promoted to an admissions coordinator and from there her passion turned into a career of service. In March 2013, only 2 years after advancing to an admissions coordinator, Kasia joined our Van Dyk family and began her career with us a Director of Admissions for our Montclair location. Kasia has taken the role and made it her own in her 4 years with our company.
Marc Morresi, MD
Marc specializes in internal medicine. In addition to his position at Summit Medical Group, he is a also the Medical Director of Van Dyk Health Care in Montclair.
“My goal is to make sure I listen to the patient and offer support and understanding as I believe that compassion, combined with medicine, will aid in their overall care,” says Dr. Morresi. “After watching a close relative deal with a serious illness when I was a child, I was amazed at the compassion and time the physicians spent with my family, and that inspired me to become a physician and offer that same type of care to my patients.”

When I left Van Dyk, a bit earlier, I believe than my experienced physical therapists might have recommended, I felt well-prepared to continue my exercises. I left to be home for Christmas. I had mixed feelings – wistfulness and deep gratitude- among them. Van Dyk had been a true sanctuary and haven for me: a gentle community of people devoted to helping and healing others. I feel blessed to be there. I thank you and your family for creating and maintaining the nurturing, warmly hospitable atmosphere of the Van Dyk and the high quality and professionalism if your staff.Moira W.
