FAMILY MEANS EVERYTHING

We are a vibrant family at Van Dyk Park Place – our award-winning staff, our wonderful residents and our loving family members. We thrive on coming together as one community, and the COVID-19 pandemic was no exception. We saw bravery, compassion and resilience on full display. Our staff remained strong for the many families we serve, and our families reciprocated with tremendous love and gratitude.

Our family continues to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the American Health Care Association (AHCA), the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) and the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) in order to prevent and/or reduce the spread of COVID-19. In doing so, Van Dyk Park Place has remained one of the safest Assisted Living communities for our wonderful residents.

Our rapid-response efforts have allowed us to test our staff and our residents regularly, as well as identify any potential concerns affecting our community. As a family-owned care provider, we have the ability to act swiftly and decisively in these moments in order to ensure the safety and well-being of our entire family.

We will continue to provide regular updates on our status, and we ask for your continued support of our infection control policies.

COVID-19 REPORTING UPDATE

As of 04/25/24, Van Dyk Park Place has the following active COVID-19 cases: zero staff and one resident. All residents in our Assisted Living, Lighthouse and Reflections neighborhoods remain safe in accordance with Van Dyk's strict COVID-19 policies and in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

We are actively conducting contact tracing and regular testing (per New Jersey Department of Health regulations).

At this time, we are asking families to not bring residents home for visits. We also recommend limiting/postponing any outings or routine appointments.

Please help us in supporting all safety measures to keep our residents safe on campus and limit communal spread. If you are feeling any flu, RSV or COVID-like symptoms, please consider delaying your visit -- contact us if there's anything we can do for your loved one in your absence.
